My Brothers,

I am looking forward to serving as the Master
of your Lodge for this, the 250th Anniversary of
Fidelity St. John’s 3. These are turbulent times, but
also hopeful ones.

One of the things we will be discussing at our
business meeting in January is selling or leasing
our building. I urge you to attend.

In February we’ll host a Table Lodge to celebrate
our 250th Anniversary. We have dispensation
to hold this event on Sunday the 12th, the actual
Anniversary date. Come in colonial dress or sharp
casual; if you have never been to the Table Lodge,
it provides both, light and levity… But not too
much levity.

Following months will be busy as well. March is
the return of our famous Pancake Festival. In May
we will take part in the Memorial Day Parade. In
the late spring we will visit a lodge in Canada.
I hope to improve communication with the
Brothers, so keep an eye on our website.

Those of you who know me are laughing right now, because
I am a luddite, but I am not kidding about this.
The purpose of this is to increase the participation
of the brotherhood.

All of out major events will be
co-chaired by one of our Brothers: in the words of
brother Harry S. Truman “It is amazing what you
can accomplish if you do not care who gets the
credit.” I hope the Great Architect of the Universe
will make this year a positive one for all of us. I
am sure that, with your participation, this will be
the case.
