Spring '06Brethren,Our Masonic year is divided into three equal parts. As we enter the second part of our year, we will devote our time to our usual Masonic Vocations. There are several new Master Masons, who still need the guidance of expierenced Craftsmen so that they may continue to perfect their work. There are many new Brothers who will need the strength and support of the Fraternity, that they too might contribute to the Craft. Please do all that you can to aid and assist our newest members, as they can only learn our traditions from you. In mid February we held a Social Night, which was open to all including Non-Masons and Ladies. We shared food, drink, lively conversation, card games, and even had a 'mini movie theater' where we viewed the National Treasure, a film which contains some entertaining (if not grossly exagerated) Masonic references. A wonderful time was had by all who attended, and another social evening has been planned. I look forward to seeing you then! Sadly, the 40th annual Fidelity Fellowcraft Pancake Festival has been cancelled. The main reason cited for the cancellation has been lack of manpower. Brothers, please remember that none of us can stand alone in our Fraternity. There are several organizations within our Lodge which are seeking assistance from the newer members of our group. If you have a little time to spare, the Temple Association and the Fellowcraft Club would certainly love to have your help! Let's try to concentrate our efforts and make a Pancake Festival happen before the years end. It would truly be a shame to break this 40 year tradition! Please do not forget to make your dinner reservations for the annual Awards/Ladies Night. If you attended last year, you will certainly remember the Excellent time had by all!
